A steady, spacious place to be met — especially when things are complex

People often come to me when they’re carrying something heavy, complex, or difficult to name. Sometimes they’re facing pain, illness, loss, or a hard decision. Other times they sense a deeper question underneath their lives — something about meaning, integrity, or how to live in alignment with what they know to be true.

I hope to bring a calm, grounded, attentive way of being that allows people to settle and feel met where they are. I’m not afraid of difficult emotions, dark places, or complicated systems and I don’t rush past them. At the same time, I hold a steady warmth and lightness that helps people feel safe enough to stay present with what’s unfolding.

I see all the trainings, educational experiences and skills acquired over the years as being harmonious and integrated, though diverse. I have an audacious wish for humanity, as individuals and the whole, to experience the truth and beauty of who we are and share that with each other without oppressing or dominating each other in the process.

My first work as a counselor set the stage for my work as a nurse practitioner. Tools of circle facilitation, functional nutrition, non-violent communication, embodiment, parts work, and ketamine-assisted therapy all add texture to my experience. I see these not as separate modalities, but as integrated ways of understanding and supporting the whole person—body, mind, heart, and spirit.

I also draw from a longstanding path in contemplative spirituality. I trained as a yoga teacher with Ana Forrest in 2007 and was ordained as a mystical Christian priest in 2010 through the Order of the Mystic Heart at Theama Institute. These experiences deepened my trust in a slower, attentive process of healing. My work brings together humanistic mystical spirituality and modern science as two languages of the same truth, guiding people toward wholeness in an embodied and grounded way.

Outside of work, I enjoy life on her family’s farm in Fort Collins, Colorado, with my husband, three teenagers, and a host of animals—cultivating rich soil, engaged lives, and expansive hearts.
